In the zone today

I was in the zone a bit today. Some of the stages that I couldn't beat for a long while I got past. I finally beat the normal modes on 押忍！闘え！応援団 and Elite Beat Agents, and I finally got past the aneurysm stage in Trauma Center. Those are the games I really hate but still play with it because of my masochistic tendencies.

DSFTP

Today I decided to try out the DSFTP program on my new DS Lite. Its basically an FTP server program. In the end I decided to get rid of it. It was a bit difficult to get it working. I had to google around to find out that you need to use the "patch moonshell for supercard.exe" on the NDS file to get it actually working for the Supercard Lite. And once I did get an IP I tried to use the ftp program that came with Windows... no luck So I tried to use the FireFTP extension for firefox and that did work. At that point I tried to upload a file. The speed was approximately 45 kilobytes per second which was horrendously slow. Its not the fault of the program, but with the DS hardware itself from what I read in the forums. The DS Lite hardware only goes as fast as 2Mbits per second. So I am back to using my USB reader/writer in the end afterall.
