The first Digimon game I played and finished

Digimon World DS is the first real Digimon game I have tried. The game play is simple enough, I was able to finish the game in 11 hours. Most of the time I just left it running since it still levels up your Digimons even when you are not really playing the game. The story is quite shallow (granted it is just a kids game based on something that Fox would pick up and convert). The game play mechanics are pretty simple and limited. Its similar to Final Fantasy X which is by far one of the worst battle systems to ever come out of Squaresoft. You also cannot "pass" or "guard" and its just simple attacks. The only gimick is the 5 space board that you can use items or attacks based on targetting on the 5 space board. I haven't tried to do the on-line play yet though. It would be interesting to see what other people do.
